I haven’t forgotten you.
Not once have I forgotten your face
Your touch, your smell. But
I wonder if I am still present in
Your memory.
Perusing through your photo albums
Friends and family digitized
Alike, I
Can’t help but notice I’m no longer in
Any of these photos.
Rather, only he is. Is he replacing
Me? But we are friends
Aren’t we?
Every status you post I read
with perhaps too much conviction
Too much interest
But it’s my own way to stay connected to you
And hours into the night
I’ll click your name
And that small dialogue box
pops up
That green dot illuminated
But never will you send me word.
That green dot.
That green light
Across the way
